Why did we develop KONNEKT?

Organizations are increasingly moving their files from Windows file servers to SharePoint Online (One Drive for Business, Teams, SharePoint Online sites). The majority of users still wants to see and work with these files in their Windows File Explorer as well as file dialog boxes.

The One Drive Sync Client gets you half way but lacks some important features, such as VDI support and drive letter mapping. The sync-based architecture of One Drive Sync Client additionally introduces challenges for administrators because the usage of local disk space for synced files may become a problem. And users struggle to manually map SharePoint Online sites of all the teams they work on.

To overcome those issues, we built KONNEKT.
